· Is there any way to convert a non-decocker to a decocker?
June 25th, 2010 by admin· Is it possible to fit the CZ TS Extended Ambi Safety LHS (Item Number: 10226) on the SP01 Shadow?
June 25th, 2010 by adminNo, there is a specific part for the CZ 75 Shadow, which actually will fir in several other models of CZ 75.
The boss and the spindle on the TS safety are both longer, to accommodate the wider frame of the Tactical Sports (TS)
· I was hoping you could tell me if the CZ P-01 and CZ compact (steel frame) have the same internal components or if they are different, requiring different replacement parts?
June 25th, 2010 by adminThe P01 is a Decoker and the Compact is an SA DA gun, some parts will interchange, but nothing from the internal fire mechanism, except the trigger.
· I want to replace the standard front sight on my CZ pistol with a Fiber Optic front sight. I do not wish to replace the rear sight. What size do I need?
June 25th, 2010 by adminCZ factory pistols (exception is the TS and Kadet which both come with 7.5mm High) are fitted with a 5.5mm High front sight (when measured from the bottom of the sight to the top of the sight, with the sight OUT of the slide).
So the correct sight for a factory gun would be any 5.5mm replacement sight we sell.
· I have a decocker style factory pistol, is there anyway to convert it to Single Action Only?
June 25th, 2010 by adminUnfortunately it is not possible, if this was done the pistol would not have a manual safety so it would not be safe in the SA Only mode.
· I have a CZ 75 pistol with a creepy, hard and mushy trigger. Would the 85 trigger installed by you and tuned, take care of this otherwise superb pistol?
June 25th, 2010 by adminNo the 85 combat trigger will make no difference to the trigger pull on the gun, having a trigger job which includes the Comp hammer, fitted will take care of this

· I am interested in buying a CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical in .40 S&W. I was wondering if you guys do any custom work on this pistol? I am mostly interested in improving the trigger.
June 25th, 2010 by adminSure we can complete any custom work on new guns before we ship (assuming it is legal in your state I.E. California)
This is a great way to improve you gun and save some money on shipping.
· How do I fit CZ front sight?
June 25th, 2010 by adminRemove the roll pin using the appropriate punch http://czcustom.com/czpunch.aspx
Tap the old front sight out (towards the muzzle) using an appropriate soft hammer or soft block
Replace the new front sight into the dovetail and tap it toward the back of the gun until it seats in the rear of the dovetail cut. Make sure it goes all the way back.
Using the correct drill, http://czcustom.com/CZ_Front_Sight_Drill.aspx
Drill through the roll pin hole (IMPORTANT) Drill from the left side of the gun to the right side, Drill cut clockwise and drilling from this direction will not cause the front sight to walk out as the drill starts to cut.
Replace the front sight pin, new pins are available http://czcustom.com/czfrontsightpin.aspx
· Firing pin blocks on CZ Pistols
June 25th, 2010 by adminAs of this moment the only CZ pistols that are not fitted with firing pin blocks are:
- CZ 75 Sp01 Shadow
- CZ 85 Combat
- CZ Tactical Sports
All other have firing pin block fitted
the B designation in the nomenclature on the slide
I.E. CZ75B indicates the presence of the firing pin block.
· Does xxxxxx part fit my EAA / Tangfolgio pistol?
June 25th, 2010 by adminSo far we have ascertained that almost no parts interchange without substantial re profiling and fitting.
EAA / Tangfolgio seem to have chosen to create there clone with completely different measurement on almost all parts
